AIR FRANCE | BUSINESS IMMEDIATE BOARDING
15 > 17 June 2017 | VIVA TECHNOLOGY SHOW, PARIS
BUSINESS CLASS, IMMEDIATE VR BOARDING
— CONTEXT —
In a bid to win back its natural place as a world leader, the french airline has re-structured itself around a high-end strategy for its products and services. Since 2014, the airline has been continuing to deliver proof of this high-end strategy, leveraging its capacity for innovation and the way it stands out from the rest in its communications strategy (the French Touch) via its new "France is in the air" brand signature.
— REQUEST —
To support its high-end strategy, Air France is looking for an innovative way to introduce the general public – as well as tourism sector professionals – to its new cabins and all of their associated services. Air France therefore wants to develop immersive content designed to showcase its Business Class.
— CONCEPT PRESENTED —
TETRO/SUPERBIEN/ARFORIA are therefore working together on designing a completely original VR experience: users are invited to enjoy a whole Business Class trip – starting when they first arrive at the airport to when they get to their final destination, not forgetting the Air France lounge. Visitors get to experience all the on-board services and comfort that the airline provides via this virtual journey. An experience that has a few surprises in store and which will delight travellers. Fully developed using real 3-D and photogrammetry, the film is a way for visitors to interact with all the services which the air hostesses provide in this virtual world. It combines all the spectacular aspects of animation with the impressive realism of photography. It also features 4D volumetric video for a cutting-edge immersive experience.
Previewed on 15, 16 and 17 June at Air France's special stand at the Viva Technology show, this virtual reality journey is also designed to showcase the way in which customers experience the brand's digital ecosystem, as well as at travel agencies with virtual reality headsets.
