GL EVENTS | 2015 BOCUSE D'OR GALA
LYON - 28.01.2015
A contemporary ballet celebrating the culinary arts
— BACKGROUND —
A gala dinner to close the Bocuse d’Or -- the biggest culinary competition in the world -- is held on 28 January 2015 at the Sucrière-Lyon cultural center, organized by GL Events for 1500 invited guests.
— MISSION —
Design and produce the art direction for the gala dinner, with the aim of reinforcing the high-end positioning of the event while highlighting the talent of the winning chefs.
— PROPOSED CREATIVE APPROACH —
TETRO envelops the guests in a fairy-tale world thanks to an elegant visual identity, a motion design and a setting that evokes the creative world of contemporary ballet.
We enlists the talents of choreographer Dominique Hervieu, director of the Maison de la Danse de Lyon, to create a contemporary ballet celebrating the culinary arts. Each of the four dishes is introduced with a procession of thirty dancers and trampolinists performing in a black and silver setting.
Tetro asks actress Zabou Breitman to serve as master of ceremonies for this evening event that combines a gala dinner with contemporary ballet.
