HARA | GUILLAUME MARMIN
CHROMATIC MONTRÉAL | 20 >22 MAY 2016
— CONTEXT —
TETRO+A presents HARA, an immersive installation created by Guillaume MARMIN & Frédéric MAROLLEAU at the 7th edition of the CHROMATIC festival in Montréal, organized by its partner MASSIVvart.
— INSTALLATION —
The seat of the emotions in the Japanese tradition, HARA is found in depths of each sentient being. It is also the soul’s vital source. It is this spiritual essence, this seminal vitality that Guillaume MARMIN and the composer Frédéric MAROLLEAU wanted to explore through this immersive projection of light matter - an internal experience that borrows from hypnosis, active contemplation, the physicality of sound and the desire for abstraction.
