Sharjah Light Festival 2026
In 2026, as part of the Sharjah Light Festival, Studio TETRO was invited to present four installations across the city. The artworks create a dialogue between architecture, landscape and light.
Concept
From the Kalba waterfront to Al Majaz Waterfront, the installations transform public sites into sensory environments. Three projects, three distinct ways of inhabiting light. Studio TETRO oversaw the production of the artworks and their integration into the urban and cultural context of the festival.
Installations
Lotus + Hydra ✕ Nicolas Paolozzi / Module
Two complementary installations presented simultaneously.
Lotus unfolds as a monumental floral landscape with inverted scales, immersing visitors within an expanding organic environment.
Hydra takes the form of an abstract serpentine figure composed of luminous flows and metallic structures, oscillating between attraction and tension.
Firmamento ✕ Quiet Ensemble
A monumental 20-metre-high structure composed of 12,000 metres of wire. Driven in real time by data from cosmic activity, the installation generates a suspended swarm of lights. A rigid structure becomes a living organism.
Écrin ✕ 1024 Architecture
Sixteen laser beams draw an architecture of light in motion. Positioned between urban signal and organic sculpture, the artwork reshapes public space through rhythm, intensity and vibration.
Through these installations, Studio TETRO develops a shared approach: transforming sites into experiences, revealing invisible dimensions and embedding light within both space and time.
